Lady Gaga (English)

I’m NOT making a boycot against Lady Gaga. This is simply my expression as a fan.

Her first two videos were the typical songs that produce us to dance unconsciously: Just Dance and Poker Face. These two didn't cause me as much polemic as their predecessors: Papparazi and Love Game, here we begin to know that Little monster that we all want right now, her chic-irreverent-savage side that we like so much.

On Wednesday night finally I saw the new video of Gaga, Alejandro. Sincerely I was not surprised. I understand that right now and always is sex what sells, but what’s wrong with these artists that everytime are focused more and more in the graphic part of the videos, escaping from the meaning of the song?

I don’t understand why the whole sadomasochistic wave in white and black, ok, I know that she said that this video will be dedicated to her gay fans, but the only gay part for my of the video it was those mens dancing in boxers on beds, the rest: NOTHING ELSE. Could somebody explain to me: What the hell were doing those mens with an urn at the beginning of the video? I would liked to see her dressed like a transsexual with those outfits that impress us all, escaping from all the men that she mentions in the song, like people say out-there: "taking them off my life”, because, that’s kinda the idea of the song (not the transsexual thing, that one of escaping from the men), but it wasn’t!

I hope her next proposal can be so interesting and graphical as Bad Romance or Telephone, although they escaped from the main idea of the letter of the songs, but visually they are more attractive and make certain polemic, that, let’s be honest, is what we love of Lady Gaga, or not?.

Thanks for reading,
Josemaría.
